MEA is seeking input from members for our official response to proposed changes to the state's social studies standards.  

The recommendations come from a committee that included conservative state senator and gubernatorial candidate Patrick Colbeck (R-Canton). The State Board of Education will consider adopting these changes after a public comment period, which has been extended to September 30.
