Congratulations on being named as a proposed candidate for the MERCAZ USA slate of delegates for the 38th World Zionist Congress.

Your immediate action is required to complete the registration to join the slate. Please follow the below instructions to take all the necessary steps to register by November 15th. Once they are all completed, please click the button to the right to let us know you have completed all necessary steps.

Your Immediate Action is Required:

1. Make sure that your MERCAZ USA membership is current. MERCAZ USA dues can be paid online at: www.mercazusa.org (scroll down on the page).
2. Register to vote in the election. The registration site is: www.zionistelection.org. The instructions will guide you through the process. The fee is $7.50.  
3. Once you have completed the registration process, you must sign the Letter of Assent, agreeing to be a candidate. Follow Step II outlined on the registration instructions. The slate code is MERCAZ.
4. Sign this letter of Resignation.

The US Area Election Committee requires that all candidates be registered to vote in the election and sign a letter of assent (agreeing to be a candidate on the MERCAZ slate) prior to being listed on the slate. MERCAZ USA requires a letter of Resignation to be received by November 15, in order for your name to be on the slate. While we hope that if you are elected, you will attend the Congress, in the event that you are unable to be present, the letter of resignation enables the next person in line to take your place, thus keeping our delegation complete.

Expectations of Candidates:

• Work in your network and home community to GET OUT THE VOTE, giving us the largest delegation possible. People will vote because someone they respect asked them to do so. We are relying on you to make that ask!
• Attend the Congress
• Attend the Orientation so that you will be prepared to represent MERCAZ
