The LIGHT Institute, which stands for Leaders Inspiring Growth, Harmony, and Transformation, is a three-phase training program that will equip emerging leaders with the necessary resources to become influential community changemakers and advocates that defend against authoritarianism and fascism.

Amidst the psychological warfare of Project 2025, it is crucial for organizers, leaders, and volunteers to prepare for sustainable alternatives to reduce disproportionate dependence on the government. In the face of today's active threats to democracy, UWOC recognizes the potential burden on marginalized communities and aims to increase self sufficiency.

The only cost for the LIGHT Institute is a $45 fee that will be refunded to trainees once they complete the program.
