Since January 2025, hundreds of nursing positions have been cut across our public health-care system, making it clear that the Ford Conservatives and their CEO buddies have little intention of improving access to care. Did you know that 31 nursing positions have been cut in ONA’s Region 4 alone? Beyond that, London Health Sciences Centre and the Ottawa Hospital each announced more than 200 nursing position cuts and they don’t seem to be slowing down.

When ONA members and health care are under attack, we stand up and fight back.

Join us on Thursday, June 25, for a rally outside St. Joesph’s Healthcare in downtown Hamilton to demand care, not cuts! We must make our opposition to these cuts known and spread the word so that patients know their care is at risk.
