Volunteer for our 2023 Climate Protection Canvass!

Many rural communities across the state are experiencing an increase in climate crisis impacts, including infrastructure insecurity (communications, internet and power), lack of access to food and clean water, and recovery from post-traumatic stress caused by devastating or frequent hurricanes and tornadoes.

Hometown Organizing Project is launching a climate protection project, starting with a rural canvass, where we are having conversations with Alabamians throughout the state to hear how these climate disasters affect them, their families, and communities.

Join our volunteer canvass team! You'll have the option to join a door to door canvass or a phone bank.
