Calling all AAPI Sacramento Residents!

We’re excited to launch our 2026 Sacramento AAPI Advocates program, a three-part volunteer leadership development series focused on building political power and pushing for progressive policies in California. As our communities face growing attacks from the affordability crisis to ICE terror, this is a crucial moment to step into policy advocacy. These training sessions will help you build the skills to advocate for and protect AAPI communities impacted in this MAGA regime. You’ll learn how to lobby for change and plug into people-powered policy campaigns.

Our 3- Day Volunteer Leadership Development Series looks like…  

• Hands on skills building for effective advocacy

• Political education on issues shaping our state

• Training to shape our organization's policy agenda

• Building political power in our communities

• Becoming a spokesperson for your community

• Lobbying at the Sacramento Capital for change

No experience needed! We welcome all organizing levels who are committed to participating in all 3 required series days!

Our Organization will be offering a $200 Stipend to participants completing the full 3 day program.

Series Dates

Tuesday June 9th 2026- Virtual on Zoom 5:30pm - 8pm

Thursday June 11th, 2026- Virtual on Zoom 5:30-8pm

Wednesday June 17th, 2026- In person at the Capitol- 10am-3pm (time is still being finalized)
