We can all see that extreme weather events are becoming more frequent. From fires to floods to heatwaves, all our lives are being impacted by climate. Just last month 4 huge coal mine expansions were approved by the government. These mines will emit millions of tons of emissions in their lifetime - threatening lives, water, cultures and species. With over forty other coal and gas projects seeking approval from the federal government, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

The seat of Wills (Carlton, Brunswick, Coburg, Fawkner) is a key seat this election due to its 2% margin and climate concerned community. If we can get out there and engage lots of voters, we can make ending coal and gas the true test of climate action and force greater ambition by all candidates.
