The Downriver Schools Coalition is a group of parents, caregivers, and community members who are organizing to improve school districts across our region, focusing on funding equity, inclusion, and lifting up student voice. Membership is free and open to any parents, caregivers, students, teachers, and community members living, teaching, and/or working in the area.

By signing up, you can let us know your capacity for helping us organizing for positive change in Downriver schools - whether that's recruiting others, attending and speaking at school board meetings, doing research, helping us plan events, gathering signatures, participating in statewide education actions, or another special skill that you can bring to the table!

We are affiliated with Michigan Education Justice Coalition (MEJC), a progressive 501(c)(3) organization who brings together communities across the state to win equitable funding and resources for ALL of our schools!
