Join the IX Campus Action Network!
The Know Your IX Campus Action Network (IX-CAN) is a space FOR students BY students to talk organizing strategies, share resources, build policy ideas, work on federal legislation, and collaborate to end gender-based violence on our college campuses and beyond.
IX-CAN can help you connect with other student organizers across the country, provide you with online organizing tools to create petitions, events, and more, help you access the resources you need, and amplify your message. We’ll send you monthly emails chock full of organizing tips, policy ideas, and updates from our team and fellow organizers on the ground, as well as national action items.
Not a student? You can still get involved by signing up for our alerts here. We’ll keep you up to date on developments at schools across the country, new federal policy and legislation, our actions and victories, and ways to support our organizing.

Founded in 2013, Know Your IX is a national grassroots, survivor-run, student-driven campaign to end campus gender-based violence. We educate students across the country about their civil right to an education free from sexual violence and harassment while also pushing policy and legislative change on the national level for better federal enforcement of that same right. Know Your IX fills the gap between the law on the books and survivors on the ground: we work to educate fellow students about their rights and empower them to take action for safety and equality on campus; and bring students’ voices, experiences, and concerns to policymakers writing the next chapter in Title IX’s history.
