Join the Young Greens International Committee!
The Young Greens of England and Wales (YGEW) are establishing an International Committee, and we are currently looking to co-opt members to sit on the committee.
The purpose of the International Committee is to enable the full array of YGEW international work to be performed with more capacity and consistency. This work includes, but is not limited to:
- Regular communications and outreach to international Young Green groups, especially outside of Europe.
- Regular communication of International opportunities and events to the YGEW membership, particularly through Social Media.
- Preparatory work ahead of EGP Congresses/FYEG General Assembly, which involves resolution and amendment work.
- Helping organise international events, like the International Quiz and next year’s International Summer Camp in collaboration with the Irish and Scottish Young Greens.
- Preparations for the 2024 EU elections, which may include an EGP/FYEG event in London.
In addition to this, there will be an encouraging space for novel ideas for how we can do international work.
The International Committee will be chaired by Benjamin, the YGEW International Officer, and if you have any questions about the International Committee or other International matters, please contact him on international@younggreens.org.uk.
The deadline for submitting your application is 22nd October, 23:59. After that, Benjamin will schedule an short informal chat.
