Help Engage Underrepresented Voices in the 8th Cong. District

To truly become the party of choice for all people—across socio-economic, racial, ethnic, tribal, and LGBTQ+ communities, the 8th CD is launching a new committee to reach, engage, and empower underrepresented voices across Northeast Wisconsin.

Who We’re Looking For:
  • Individuals from diverse backgrounds, underrepresented community members, and committed allies.
  • People with a passion for inclusion, equity, and community-building.
  • Young voices who are eager to make a difference would be great!
  • Members who are willing to meet once a month to start.
  • Participants who are willing to attend an initial 3–4 hour mini-retreat to set our foundation (date TBD after submission deadline).
  • Before the mini-retreat, we will be hosting 2 drop-in meetings just to connect initially and get to know each other. These will be held on the evenings of September 16th and 18th. All those who fill out this form will be updated on times and locations via email.
  • The mini-retreat details will be shared very soon.
  • Ideally, a commitment through the 2026 election cycle (Nov. 2026), with renewal opportunities afterward.
  • You do not need to be a member of the Democratic Party to participate

Together, we can create a committee that isn’t just representative—but transformative for our district. Your participation will help ensure that our vision for the 8th CD is shaped by the voices of all the people we aim to serve.

Initial Submission Deadline has ended and submissions are being reviewed. However, additional submissions will be considered on a rolling basis after that date.

The 8th Congressional District is made up of the counties of Brown, Calumet, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Waupaca, and a small part of Winnebago.
