NY Renews is a coalition of over 320 environmental, justice, faith, labor, and community groups, and the force behind the nation’s most progressive climate law, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. We fight for good jobs and climate justice, and we’re not finished yet.

This year, we're working hard to pass the Climate, Jobs & Justice Package—a comprehensive roadmap to rapidly decarbonize New York, make our state healthier and more equitable, ensure a just transition for workers, and help create an accessible green economy for all:

• Good jobs: Create hundreds of thousands of climate-friendly jobs that pay prevailing wages and are open to all throughout New York state
• Environmental justice: Support BIPOC, low-income communities disproportionately hurt by climate change with revenue generated by a fee to polluters
• 100% clean and renewable energy: Foster an economy-wide transition to 100% clean, renewable energy by 2050 with a benchmark goal of 50% by 2030
• Worker protection: Advocate for economic justice in the transition to a 100% clean energy economy that puts workers and families first
