My name is Richard Kenski. I would like the honor of serving as a True Representative of all the people of our diverse 1st Congressional District. For this reason, I am running as an independent candidate, NOT beholden to big money donors, corporate lobbyists, nor any political party.

Unlike other candidates, as a TruRep™ candidate I believe you should never have to compete with corporate lobbyists and out-of-state donors for the ear of your own representative. Your needs and opinions matter! My office is for Constituents Only and will always be open and accessible to you.

Our nation’s Founding Fathers dreamed of a country run by its citizens, not by a ruling class nor political elites. They wanted a government of, by, and for “We the People."

"We the People" would lead our country through a "House of Representatives." Breaking free from rule under a king, we certainly did not want it a house of governors, leaders, or even intellectuals providing grand solutions for lowly subjects. Additionally, we would have a president, but only one to administer the government. Our nation was to be directed by a body of True Representatives where every citizen would be ensured a voice in government.

For over 150 years, our House of Representatives had:

one Congressman for each 30,000 Citizens.

In the 1920's they limited the number of representatives and our voice in government has slowly dwindled to less than 4 percent of what the Founding Fathers envisioned.

Today, each Congressman represents over 750,000 Citizens

To be a True Representative for so many people, I believe constituents deserve a better way of being heard. That's why I am launching a special TruRep™ program to empower the people of our 1st Congressional District.
