Kind to Oceankind Pledge

I pledge to always be Kind to Oceankind. I value and respect our oceans and the life inside of it, so I will do my part to protect it.

BEING KIND TO OCEANKIND MEANS:

Following the local guidelines and laws requiring distance from wildlife.

● 10 feet (3 m) from sea turtles.
● 50 feet (15 m) from monk seals.
● 50 yards / 150 feet (46 m) of distance from spinner dolphin.
If approached by a spinner dolphin, taking immediate action to move away 50 yards.
● 100 yards/300 feet (91 m) from humpback whales.
● Picking up a piece of trash that is littered on the sand or in the water.
● Reporting any wildlife harassment or emergencies.
● Protecting our vital coral reefs by wearing a rash guard and reducing the amount of sunscreen I wear. When wearing sunscreen, I’ll make sure it’s actually reef-safe sunscreen.
● Encouraging others to be #KindToOceankind. (Don't forget to check out our contest.)
