NYC-DSA Latinos Socialistas was born as an effort to provide space to develop Latine organizers within DSA and grow our base for socialism. We do this through political education, organizer trainings, and hitting the streets to talk to New Yorkers.

In the coming months—on top of our regular political education events—we will be hosting Spanish organizing trainings and big Spanish-language canvasses for our DSA-elected insurgent electoral campaigns. This will mean: canvassing for Illapa Sairitupac in Lower Manhattan, for David Alexis in Flatbush, for Kristen Gonzalez in Queens and North Brooklyn, and for Samy Nemir Olivares in North Brooklyn!
