LMPV Ambassador Bootcamp Sign-Up
Let My People Vote (LMPV) is an electoral justice program of Soul 2 Soul Sisters in collaboration with New Era Colorado. This program aims to promote awareness of political issues impacting Black people, increase the power of Black communities, enfranchise all voting-age Black people, and cultivate robust and sustained Black political participation in Colorado and beyond.
LMPV's Ambassador Bootcamp trains and supports Black people in building political practices to engage our communities in transforming governing systems to reflect our values and needs. This season we will learn how the legislative session operates, host healing circles to help us develop practices for navigating the political landscape, and read How We Get Free: Black Feminism and the Combahee River Collective to identify and name Black politics and build visions for Black Womanist liberation. LMPV's Ambassador Bootcamp strives to create a community to empower and activate us to create change.
Are you interested in supporting LMPV but can’t commit to the Ambassador Bootcamp? If you would like to receive updates about the work and spread the word to your community, sign up to be a Let My People Vote Partner and we will add your email to our mailing list. Another great way to support us is to invite your friends and family to join the Ambassador Bootcamp!
If your organization would like to collaborate in doing LMPV work, you can sign up to be a Let My People Vote Partner and one of our LMPV Coordinators will be in touch to discuss organizational partnership opportunities.
