About us: MASSPIRG is a statewide, student-directed, non-partisan, & non-profit organization. For over 45 years, students on college campuses across MA have worked alongside professional organizers and advocates to create a more meaningful future. We believe that college students don’t need to wait until graduation to make an impact – and that’s why we mobilize students to get involved by running grassroots campaigns that make concrete social change. We work on a variety of issues such as protecting the environment and public health, reducing the cost of higher education, increasing youth participation in elections, and alleviating poverty. The internship program: MASSPIRG interns take on leadership on one or more of our campaigns and receive support and training from a team of experienced organizers and student leaders. Our internship program gives students the opportunity to take your education out of the classroom, do hands-on work, learn important skills, and make an impact. Interns are also eligible to get course credit in a variety of departments on campus.

Qualifications: We are looking for interns who are organized, communicate well, and are passionate about making a difference. Any experience level is welcome and prior leadership or campaign experience may make you qualified for an advanced position.
