MAWG Solidarity Crafting Circle

Join a group of socialist crafters from all over the USA (and maybe even elsewhere) for impeccable vibes, some fun show-and-tell, and lots of great conversation. Bring your craft along because we'll start with an audio component: a comrade will read a leftist text (typically one that deals with arts, crafting, creativity, or making of some kind) aloud while the rest of us work on our project. Then we'll discuss what we read, how it relates to real life, what we're working on, and go wherever the conversation leads us.

All crafts and art forms are welcome – knitting, sewing, crocheting, jewelry-making, drawing, painting, pottery, woodworking, even just doodling; whatever you're into, at any level of mastery, you're welcome here!

Solidarity Crafting Circles typically take place on the FOURTH SUNDAY of each month (1/22, 2/24, etc.), but the late March edition will instead take place APRIL 2. Sign up now and you'll receive a Zoom link -- if you don't, please email mutualaid@dsacommittees.org and we'll make sure you have it!
