Sign Up for an Upcoming Spring Signature Collection Training!
In order to put a question on the ballot in Massachusetts, there are two rounds of signature collection - and in May and June, we will be collecting 21,000 signatures for the second round! To prepare for it, the Nature for Massachusetts coalition will be hosting signature collection trainings beginning in mid-March. These trainings are an hour long and virtual, so you can join from the comfort of your living room.
Whether you've never done signature collection or just need a refresher, this training is for you!
In this training we'll go through the basics of signature collection (what it is, what to say, where to go, how to collect, who to report to). We'll also go over the Nature for MA coalition and the Vote Yes for Water and Nature campaign messaging and timeline. At the end, you'll learn about how you can get started collecting signatures to put water and nature on the ballot.
You can find a recording of this training here - it's 20 minutes long. You can also pick up papers at any of the regional hubs listed on our Volunteer Portal, and ask the person there to give you a quick 5-minute rundown of how to collect signatures if you want to get started
