NS Budget Vote Pledge

Pledge No: We will not vote for MLAs who ruin our future. Sign onto this pledge to show that the current MLAs will NOT have a future in office if they pass this vote.

The budget for 2026-2027 put forward by Premier Tim Houston is bad for Nova Scotians. It introduces devastating cuts to arts and culture, education, mental health, climate action, as well as critical supports for seniors, youth, families, and people with disabilities. Meanwhile, it continues to give handouts to international companies and the Premier’s rich friends.

For these reasons and more, I pledge to never vote for any MLA of any party who voted in favour of this budget.
