As NETWORK advocates, we care deeply about our communities and are committed to building a country where we all have a say in the decisions that impact our lives and have all that we need to thrive. Together we are powerful, with members of Congress listening to us as we work to pass legislation that will help us and prevent legislation that will harm us.

But this moment is different. An authoritarian government backed by billionaires is hoarding the power and wealth that belong to all of us. The Trump regime is sending masked militia into neighborhoods and attacking the freedoms we all value. While many large corporations are making record profits, too many people in our communities are struggling to afford housing, health care, and food – our basic needs. Meanwhile, some members of Congress have set out to further reward these ultra-wealthy folks who benefit from record-breaking corporate profits with massive tax breaks – all while taking food and health care away from our communities.  

Over the past year, we’ve seen how people across the country are coming together to act to protect our communities and our freedoms. We’re building power so that we can live in a nation that truly works for all of us.
