Our staff union at UoW has been campaigning and negotiating for improved staff conditions since May 2022. In total, union members have won for all UoW staff a 15.5% pay increase over the next 3 years (June 2023 to June 2026). We’ve also secured other key improvements in your rights at work, including improved paths to secure jobs for Casual and Fixed Term Contract Staff, improved protections for safe workloads, and improved paid leave rights.
