This isn’t a book club where we sip wine, say “wow, so important,” and then go home and change nothing. (Okay, there might still be wine, but you get what I'm saying.)

Emma Dabiri challenges readers to move past performative allyship and individual guilt and toward something much more useful: solidarity, coalition, and collective action.

So let’s get together. Let’s read and wrestle with the ideas. Let’s ask uncomfortable questions. And let’s figure out what this shit actually means for how we raise our kids, show up for our neighbors, and build power in our communities.
