Pledge to join the UCL pickets!
Outsourced UCL workers are fighting against fire-and-rehire & redundancies. We need your help.
UCL and subcontractor Bidvest Noonan have told outsourced security officers that they will be facing huge numbers of redundancies in the next few months, and that anyone not being made redundant will face worse conditions and hours than we previously did. For many of us, the cut in hours we are facing will amount to £13,500 less pay each year.
UCL workers however are fighting back. Early in July, we announced that they smashed their strike ballot, voting 98% on a 70% turnout to take strike action. After voting at an all members meeting at UCL, workers have decided to take 10 days of strike action over two weeks, starting from Tuesday 18th July.
To win this struggle though, we need your help. On each day of strike action, we will be holding picket lines at UCL. After each of these pickets, we will be holding protests and direct actions across London in support of our campaign.
Please pledge via our form to support one or more of our strike day pickets and protests!
