Since Chapter 78 became law on June 28, 2011 public sector workers have been held hostage by mandated contributions to our rapidly increasing premiums for health benefits. Chapter 78 violated collectively bargained agreements and adversely impacted families across the state with many of us taking home less year after year. Governor Murphy received an early endorsement from NJEA that was partly based upon his commitment to sit down and figure out a solution. Governor Murphy, it's time we talk.
