Prop D 11.3 Volunteer Poll Worker Sign-Up Form

This November, St. Louis City residents will be able to vote to change the way that we elect key public officials-- our Mayor, Comptroller, Aldermen/Alderwomen, and President of the Board of Aldermen. Prop D makes three significant changes to our voting process:

  • First, it creates a nonpartisan primary, meaning that you get to vote on ALL of the candidates, not just the ones affiliated with your political party.
  • Second, implementing approval voting means that you have the ability to approve--or disapprove--of every candidate on the ballot. Rather than just voting for one individual, you can choose all of the candidates that you would find to be acceptable to hold the office, increasing the power and voice of voters citywide.
  • Finally, the two candidates with the most votes in the primary election advance to a meaningful run-off race in the general election.

We're looking for individuals who are interested in volunteering to staff the polls on November 3rd on Election Day to distribute Prop D literature to folks who are leaving the polls.  Please fill out this form to indicate your interest and someone from our team will get back to you shortly to confirm your assignment.

We know that some families are struggling during the pandemic and may benefit from being able to receive a stipend for their work at the polls. Want to work the polls for a stipend instead? Sign up here.
