Protect Tempe Tenants: Show Your Support!
As housing costs continue to rise, far too many Arizonans are at risk of losing their homes and facing eviction. In Tempe alone, more than 5,000 people are evicted each year.
Protect Tempe Tenants is a new campaign aimed at protecting tenants' rights, preventing evictions, and helping Tempe families stay in our homes.
We are calling on the Tempe City Council to:
- Pass a Right to Counsel policy so that any Tempe tenant facing eviction is guaranteed representation by an attorney
- Increase funding for rental assistance
- Place a moratorium on evictions during Arizona's brutal summer heat
