The COVID-19 crisis has highlighted our need for universal internet access, as well as the racial and economic disparities underlying internet access.
To fight for publicly-owned, fully-unionized internet service in NYC, the Internet for All Coalition if fighting for the creation of a municipal broadband network in our city. Our coalition is led by the NYC-DSA Tech Action Working Group, IBEW Local 3, VOCAL-NY, and MORE Caucus of UFT.
We've helped pull together a coalition
that includes labor unions, community organizations, public school
teachers, working parents, and more—and we're about to go public with
our demands.
