The EPA just announced a three-year initiative to regulate cancer causing PFAS – also known as “forever chemicals – by taking a series of actions to limit the concentration of the chemicals in drinking water supplies, require PFAS manufacturers to report on how toxic their products are, and more.

It’s a long-overdue step in the right direction – but it will still leave millions of Americans exposed to dangerous levels of PFAS in their drinking water for years into the future.
