Luis has been a Duke University employee for 19 years, and on September 8, he’s going to be fired. Luis and 60,000 other Hondurans were granted TPS status thirty years ago, and the Trump Administration has decided that will end on September 8.

That’s why we’re going to ride a (charter) bus with Luis on September 4, to ask Sen. Ted Budd and the NC GOP leaders of the General Assembly – who all describe themselves as good friends of Donald Trump – to ask him to use his authority to grant Luis and other Hondurans deferred removal and employment authorization. Until then, we’re asking anyone who supports Luis, to ride his Duke Transit bus with him, bring friends, listen to his great music, and livestream your ride to ask everyone you know to come with him on September 4.
