Goals of Movement Congress 2024:

• 2050 Vision and 10 Year Strategy: Ratify and officially launch the 2050 Vision and 10 Year Strategy which has been in development since 2022.

• Political vehicle: Emerge at the June 2024 convergence with concrete objectives and strategic clarity about RM’s role in cohering, anchoring, and leading social movement left and progressive forces through shared strategy in the next decade.  

• Cross-movement and cross-sector relationship building, training, and political education: The June 2024 congress will be an important container cohering our sectors, training, and orienting activists and organizers among the base to implement components of the shared strategy.

• Demonstrate the strength of the social movements in a key locale: Mobilize participants of the convergence in shared action that has a tangible impact in a key state.
