Sign up to volunteer at the River Run Rally on September 23rd!

It will take place at 12pm in Downtown Toronto.

There will be training opportunities and support for many of these roles!

Promotion Leading Up To River Run

• Postering - be part of a group who puts up posters promoting the rally across the city
• Flyering - attend events to hand out flyers encouraging people to attend River Run
• Art/Banner Making – join the SURJ crew for an art-making day in September
• Confirmation Calls - join other volunteers to call people who have RSVP'd to make sure they have all the information they need for the event

Community Dinner - September 22nd

• This will be a dinner for supporters and community members of Grassy Narrows First Nation
• Volunteer support will be required between 3pm and 9pm with set up, serving and tear down.
• If you're available for any of that time please check the box and discuss availability with volunteer coordinators

River Run Rally Day Of Roles - September 23rd

• Marshalling – ensuring crowd is moving in correct direction and waiting at key intersections to guide demonstrators.
• Truck/Van Driving – help us drive material/sound/accessibility vehicles
• Chant leaders - Keep the crowd energized by leading chants on a handheld megaphone
• Tech Support - Live stream, holding mics
• Floaters - supporting with needs as they come up on the day of
