The tenants at Riviera Estates Mobile Home Park in Eagle Idaho have formed a tenant union to negotiate with their landlord, Elevate Commercial and its managing partner Demetre Booker Jr. for better conditions in their housing. Demetre Booker has not come to the table, so the Riviera Estates Tenants Union is working to build public pressure on him to meet with his tenants and negotiate. To build that public pressure, Riviera Estates tenants and Treasure Valley Tenants Union organizers will be canvassing Eagle City to build community solidarity and pressure.
