Save Forest Hill Post Office
Despite earlier assurances that the TG Jones store in Forest Hill would not be closing, it has now been announced that it will be closing in October. This will also mean the closure of the Forest Hill Post Office.
We are deeply concerned about the upcoming closure of the Forest Hill Post Office as it provides vital services to our community. While we understand other Post Offices are available, these may not be accessible for some residents and many are already experiencing long queues.
We are calling on the Post Office to take all possible steps to ensure that the Forest Hill Post Office remains open or that an alternative local branch is opened as soon as possible.
We are also calling on TG Jones and the Post Office to work constructively with the local community and to keep them informed of any updates on the future of the branch.
We will send updates to anyone who signs this petition regarding the future of the Forest Hill Post Office or any new post office branches in the area.
