Ongoing Israeli settlement expansion on Palestinian land represents the Israeli right’s efforts to entrench permanent, undemocratic control over the West Bank through a cycle of demolitions and construction.

Settlement expansion is a threat not only to Palestinian freedoms, but to Israel's own democratic future and a future peace agreement.
