Share you Story - Student Poverty in the Cost of Living Crisis.

We are hearing from students across the country that the cost of living crisis is having a particularly brutal impact on students right now. Many student unions who provide support services such as food banks are finding that they simply cannot keep up with demand, with essential supplies and meals for students running out in under an hour, and lines across campus for students to be able to just get a meal.

Does this sound familiar to you? Are you struggling to afford essentials such as food, bills and rent? Are you finding it hard to have a social life because leaving the house is just to expensive right now? You're definitely not alone. And we want to hear from you, and help you share your story.

If you or someone you know is a student struggling to keep their head above water with the current cost of living crisis, we'd like to hear from you, so we can build a story to share with the media to draw attention to current crisis of student poverty, and use it to demand that the Government take immediate action. Your story has the potential to move people to change, drawing media and political attention to how urgent the current situation of student poverty is, and reminding other students that they are not alone, and that they can join us in our movement to change.

If you chose to share your story, you will be supported by the media team at the Foundation for Young Australians, our partners for the Change the Age campaign. Their media experts will ensure that you feel safe and comfortable in sharing your story, providing you with expert media training and guidance.
