The government shutdown is entering its fourth week and Republicans in Congress still aren't doing anything to protect health care coverage for millions of Americans, including thousands of Mainers.

Under the current Republican budget, Mainers will see their premiums increase an average of nearly 24% (4% higher than the national average) on the ACA individual marketplace, which has about 71,000 enrollees in Maine.

As we call on Maine's members of Congress to fight to protect Mainers' access to care, we're looking for people who can share their experiences and stories. We know that personal stories can have a huge impact on our elected leaders and they need to hear from you! If you receive your health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, or the health insurance marketplace, we need to hear your story. And if you receive ACA premium tax credits, we want to know how your life would be affected if you lost them.
