Texas lawmakers need to hear from you.

At least 5 million Texans are uninsured. And as many as 1.6 million more Texans lost their health insurance when they lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Are you one of them?

Maybe you’re one of the 1.5 million Texans who could have health coverage if our state expanded Medicaid. Or maybe you currently get insurance through Medicaid or a Healthcare.gov Marketplace plan. Does that program make it possible for you or a loved one to get care for a chronic illness or disability?

We want to amplify your story. Our fellow Texans, including our lawmakers, need to hear about the challenges and victories Texans have meeting their healthcare needs.
