Stop the attacks on SCMMA
The City of Saskatoon has unjustly terminated SCMMA’s President, Jackie Morley. We see this as an attempt to derail our union and the upcoming round of collective bargaining negotiations. The actions of our employer is unbecoming of a City that prides itself on respect, fairness, and transparency.
We call upon the city to reinstate SCMMA’s President and to stop abusing their power to terminate without cause. The number of terminations without cause has increased exponentially in recent months. We demand that the City adhere to a due process that is extended to all other city workers. SCMMA members deserve to be treated with the same respect and fairness.
