In a recent tweet, Donald Trump announced the deployment of a "massive armada," led by the USS Abraham Lincoln to Iran, threatening an attack "far worse" than the destruction of "Operation Midnight Hammer."

He’s risking a catastrophic war that nobody wants.

It is astounding that the Trump regime threatens to bomb Iran for its domestic crackdowns while ICE operations on American streets mirror that very same state violence. From Minneapolis to Philadelphia, we are witnessing federal agents use lethal force against citizens, conduct aggressive raids, and smear protesters as "terrorists" to justify suppression.

We cannot condemn authoritarianism abroad while the "Trump regime" implements its tactics at home.

We acknowledge that a path to negotiation exists. We demand:

• An immediate halt to military escalation and the withdrawal of offensive naval assets.

• A return to rigorous diplomacy without the shadow of "speed and violence."

• An end to the domestic and international cycle of killing and smearing dissenters.
