Sign on to stay informed about immigrant mistreatment from a Boulder-based company

BI in Boulder runs surveillance on asylum seekers via ankle monitoring, and they do this across the country. They’ve secured $500M in ICE contracts doing the work. Yet the immigrants in their care report inhumane treatment, verbal abuse, and neglect on the part of the case managers whose sole purpose is to ensure compliance with ICE requirements. Immigrants also report the ankle bracelets themselves are painful, humiliating, and beep all the time, making it hard for them to build a life free from stigma and pain here while waiting for their asylum process to conclude.

Boulder residents are standing up and pressuring BI Inc to do better. We are in an ongoing dialogue with BI to address these very serious issues. Sign up here to stay in the loop. Your voice and presence can help.
