Amazon uses days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday to accelerate its extractive business model: driving people to work at a dangerous pace for little compensation, poisoning the air and water of Black and brown communities, strengthening the police state, and decimating small businesses.

Throughout the past year, it has become increasingly difficult for working people to pay for basic needs like gas and groceries. Rising prices are not an unintended or unpreventable consequence of macroeconomic forces. Economists agree: corporate monopoly power and greed are raising prices. Amazon protects its power and continues to grow without accountability by using legal loopholes, an army of lobbyists, and illegal activity- but together, we can change that.

Join labor organizations, racial justice groups, and activists in demanding that our elected officials represent the American people, not Amazon. Together, we are demanding:

  1. A living wage, safe working conditions, good faith contract negotiations with the Amazon Labor Union, and freedom of association.

  2. A healthy planet where pollution is not concentrated in Black and brown communities.

  3. An economy where independent businesses and working people can thrive, and corporations cannot use monopoly power and public subsidies to profit.

  4. Safety instead of surveillance contracts with ICE, police, and the Israeli government.

We can stop this corporate giant before it causes even more irrevocable damage to vulnerable communities, working people, and the planet.
