One American News, the Trump-supporting cable network (because they think Fox is not supportive enough), has faced severe backlash for its continuous and undaunted circulation of misinformation about everything from the 2020 election to COVID-19 to Russia's invasion of Ukraine

No longer satisfied with simply twisting the truth to convince you of their point of view, OAN has become a mouthpiece for Russian propaganda determined to convince you there is no truth.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul spoke about Russian propaganda he's observed in conservative media outlets, "When it feels like nobody's telling the truth and there is no truth," he said, "the reaction to that is despondency and demobilization."

OAN has been working with pro-Russian forces to propagate wild conspiracy theories that lack factual integrity. That includes Andriy Derkach, a former member of a pro-Russian political party who graduated from a KGB-run academy in Moscow. The network is out of control, and no longer operating with anything remotely resembling journalistic integrity, if any existed in the first place.

DirecTV, OAN's biggest contractor, has finally recognized that viewers have had enough and is dropping the network when their contract is up in April. Now Verizon will be the only provider to carry OAN and it is time for them to do the same.
