Donald Trump was caught on tape trying to rig a presidential election.

In the audio, published by The Washington Post, Trump repeatedly pressured Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to declare that Trump had won more votes in the state than Biden. And he urged Georgia officials to 'find' enough votes (11,780) to overturn the outcome.

Not only is this a blatant and disgusting attack on American democracy, this is ILLEGAL!

Additionally, previous to the taped call, Trump called Georgia’s lead investigator for voter fraud a week earlier, and told him he could be a “national hero” if only he just happened to find some fraud that favored Trump. Yes another example of obstruction of justice.

Enacted and established laws prohibit interference in federal or state elections. By pressuring Raffensperger to ‘find’ the votes Trump would need to reverse the election outcome, he broke both Georgia state and federal laws that prohibit solicitation of election fraud.

No one is above the law, especially not Donald Trump. We must demand an immediate criminal investigation into election code violations.
