Trump’s ICE agents have been kidnapping people and deporting them to places with rampant human rights abuses—including the notorious torture facilities at Guantánamo Bay.

That includes Castillo Rivera, a 23-year-old who came here through the CBP One appointment system, a way for asylum-seekers to enter the U.S. He was targeted at the processing center simply for having a tattoo, and deported the next day to Guantánamo Bay. This is unacceptable!

Now Trump wants to deport and lock up thousands more of our immigrant neighbors at Guantánamo Bay, which is infamous for human rights abuses.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib led 15 of her colleagues in the House of Representatives with a letter to the Trump administration expressing their outrage at the recent expansion of immigrant detention at Guantánamo Bay.
