Sign to demand universal healthcare for all

Everyone has a right to healthcare by virtue of being human, regardless of how much money they have in their pockets. But our for-profit healthcare system forces millions into crippling debt just to afford the care they need—if they can access care at all.

Grassroots groups and people around the country are holding actions this weekend demanding an end to our cruel for-profit healthcare system.

They’re advocating instead for single payer healthcare for all, including improved and expanded Medicare for All—where the government would run non-profit healthcare not just for seniors, but for every U.S. resident, and expand the program to end medical debt and cover more needs such as vision and dental care.

This would simplify our needlessly complex and expensive system, which currently costs more for much worse health outcomes than similar countries.

While fighting against healthcare cuts, we must do more than protect our current flawed healthcare system. We also have to think bigger, and strengthen our country’s health policies to treat healthcare as the human right that it is.

It’s time for government representatives to listen to their constituents: Poll numbers show that 70% of Americans support Medicare for All. We need more Congressional champions prioritizing Medicare for All and committing to fighting for it.

Sign on today to join the demand to Congress: Block healthcare cuts and instead prioritize policies to guarantee universal access to healthcare as a human right. Advocate for Medicare for All now!
