Over the past few weeks, tens of millions of Americans have joined together to vote and participate in our democracy. In the face of a pandemic, and obstacles erected by politicians intended to make voting harder for communities of color and the elderly, voters set record turnout numbers and made their voices heard loud and clear.

The will of the people is clear. We are ready to get to work to defeat COVID-19, continue to fight for relief for front-line workers in states and localities, and focus on the future.

As voters we did our jobs, and now local election officials are doing theirs. As they securely count the votes, we need to give these officials, from both parties, the time they need to process the ballots and complete the count.
