The Jewish Partnership for LA (a 501c3 nonprofit) and Jewish Action for LA (a 501c4 nonprofit) provide a voice and build power for Jews committed to creating a just, thriving Los Angeles where all people can live in dignity, prosperity and safety. Motivated by our shared Jewish values, we work to advance a vision of Los Angeles and California that allows its diverse communities to live together in an inclusive, pluralist, and multiracial democracy.

For too long, the voices of progressive LA Jews have been missing in local politics and policy making. While legacy Jewish organizations claim to represent the interest of the entire Jewish community, they do not share the same priorities as a large proportion of our community. We believe that progressive Jews need a seat at the table with leaders in the fight for social and economic justice to share who we are, what we believe, and what we care about. We need Jewish community organizations that speak out against the Trump administration’s authoritarian attempt to exploit the fear of antisemitism to attack free speech, the rule of law, civil liberties, and democracy itself. We need Jewish community organizations that speak out for human rights and democracy in the U.S. and across the entire world.
