Every worker in Australia should have basic rights and dignity under our laws, and for gig transport workers it is long overdue.

New laws which took effect this August 26^th will provide rideshare and delivery workers, though the TWU, the right to apply for minimum standards to improve pay and conditions for thousands of gig workers.

But to use these laws to set standards across Uber, Menulog, Didi and Doordash, we need to ensure workers are standing together to support any application for standards.

This means that we need to grow our strength in numbers by educating other gig workers about the new legislation and signing them up to the TWU.
