The emancipation of all under socialism requires individual members of the working class to collectively organize against capital in a manner that is spontaneous, voluntary, and free. A well-structured and intentional approach to internal organizing is essential for engaging newcomers and supporting oldtimers so that both may be capable of strategic work, collective action, and mass mobilization.

At Convention, we adopted a resolution to formalize a pipeline for integrating newcomers into the fold, fostering their participation, and collectivizing our responsibility for the day-to-day work of socialist organizing.

We want DSA-LB to be a space that is participatory, emancipatory, and provisioned to rock some boats. Let’s make sure no one is left without an anchor in DSA!
